Anyone know of a shop with a lot of experience?

06 Cooper 60k miles needs new clutch.

 

I haven't used anyone but the dealer as my MCS is still under warranty, but I ran across this the other day listing independent mini garages. Perhaps make a few calls?

I, too, still use MINI North Scottsdale for my 2013 MCS service while under warranty. The local MINI club (Arizona MINI Dynamic Collective) highly recommends an independent repair center in Tempe. They have a great reputation with the local MINI club and are respected by the dealers in Scottsdale and Tempe. Apparently, they know our MINIs well and also service Jags. They have a good web site you can look at as well.

I have used both North Scottsdale MINI and a place called iAutohaus at 1876 W Broadway Rd. Tempe 480-447-5952. They just picked up a MINI mechanic with,they said either 16 or 18, years MINI experience. So far they have been extremely reasonable and very fast/on time. Ask for Andrew if. You choose them. I am not affiliated nor friends with them, just good experiences so far.

 

Thanks for the leads! I am calling both places tomorrow and looking through the sheet that azdsrt sent. This is an extra car so I keep considering if I should do it myself but it looks like a major PIA.
