I'm having trouble with my transmission after having it replaced this summer. I'm now looking at the invoice and reading rmfd........I'm guessing that's a remanufactured transmission.

Anyone had trouble with their transmission after having it replaced? We had the work done at the dealer.

 

Firstly, do you have a CVT (Cooper) or regular automatic (Cooper S)?
The reman trannies usually have a 12 month warranty, so try that first.
It shouldn't fail so early.

 

I have cvt (cooper).... it's in the dealer now. Now it won't shift out of second gear. Will know more later today. My guess.... need another new transmission. If that's the case.... I will be sure to request a NEW one.
