I upgraded to an alta 15% pulley several months ago and have been pulling P0341 code (cam position sensor) when accelerating hard and hitting ~5200 rpm. I feel a little blurp in the torque at that rpm and then the CEL comes on.

When installing the pulley, my home made tensioner release (ie. crowbar) slipped and put a notch in the tensioner puller. I replaced the pully but not the tensioner.

Could something have happened to the tensioner making it not tight enough and thereby causing the belt to slip (blurp in power) and a slight shutter in the cam?
