Sreed(cruise)control

Does anyone know if I can add speed control if it does not have it? I have a 2005 S convertible, automatic. Any help would be appreciated.

Your car doesn't have cruise? I didn't even know you could get one without it...

Mulit Function Steering Wheel was an option for Gen 1 models which included cruise control. If you read the parts description on the OEM page, it mentions 'retrofit' for what it's worth. There may be a bit of re programming the ECU or some work to the throttle body too but here's a place to start looking.

If i remember right, the install is actually quite involved....so much some dealers would just reorder the car....as a general rule, many/most options can be retrofitted if $$ is no object...but remember, the cars have been out of production for several years....so you might need to get the needed parts from junked cars....and then find a dealer to reprogram your cars computer...
Not a project for the faint of heart.....

Thanks for the replies, cruise is the only thing I miss having. I am not afraid of the work, just wanted to know if something like a kit was/is available. I will do the research and see if it is within reason.
