so I have been driving semi trucks for 2 years now and I started doing this job driving a jeep wrangler. I then traded the wrangler in for an HHR for my fiance. She gave me the choice of trucking or her. I then sold the HHR she was driving for a mini cooper. Well I started making more money and decided to trade in on a corvette c5 2002 with 28k miles. The corvette was great I have had it for 2 weeks now. I noticed the day I bought it the door was repainted a different color. I took it to the paint guy on the dealer bill and he immediately said this car was crap and repainted 3-4 times because customers abused it and it was a total piece of junk.

Since I am a trucker I only driver 4k miles a year and that corvette I fell in love with had 150 miles on it after 3 weeks. I drove right up to the dealer and said I want a different car. WELL..... he had one car that I was interested in.

we worked out a deal and my father drove it home(I am on the road)

so heres what I started with and ended with. I am a young man at age 24 but I have payed for this car myself and have had no help. yes...I live at home even though I see my home only 2-4 days a month.

the biggest thing that upsets me is I have 2000 dollars in corvette mods sitting at home new top, brakes, rotors, subs, intake and the works...

me and my father decided to sell our motorcycles and I used my money to buy this 2009 spirit industries t-bucket with a 400hp 350ci engine

I was told it weighs about 1500 with me in it.


gotta say im glad my father has power of attorney and was able to get it today because this car is amazing. I cant wait to drive it.


I am gonna miss the fun times in the mini but I really am glad that I got out of it...
I missed so many shifts from 3-4 that ended up going from redline 3rd gear to 2nd gear... thats gotta be real bad
