Ours does not have the chrome (plastic?) on the rounded pieces that rise up above the rear headrests. (see photo below)

Didn't realize the car was maybe supposed to have them when we bought it but keep seeing others with the chrome.

I've tried googling them but am not even sure what they're called. I'm guessing you can buy them and they snap in place, yes?

Can you point me in the right direction please?

They are the roll bars in the convertible. They have covers that come in chrome or black. Chrome was standard on an S, black was standard on a non-S (optional chrome with the chromeline package).

You can purchase the parts at a dealer, or from some of the vendors on NAM. It looks like they come in 4 pieces, the chrome version is part# 51437124905, 51437124906, 51437124907, and 51437124908.
