Last week my Back Up Sensor stopped working so I checked and replaced the 5 amp fuse. Same problem cropped up in no time at all so I came to NAM for help . From what I have read here apparently the problem is my most likely my power steering fan which brings me to three questions:
1. Where do I find this fan on the car?
2. Where is the best place to buy a replacement if that is the problem.
3. Should I put on the guard that Mini Mania sells?

I know that it is under the car, and that things do hit it once in a while. I have had my power steering fan replaced twice, once under warranty and once when I hit a large raccoon. I have installed the brush guard that covers the entire underside of the engine area, had to take off the plastic parts but have not had any problems since.

 

Last night I got under the car and found it plain as day. It is just about dead center under the car less then 2 feet from the front. It had a plastic bag sucked up in it. I took that out, replaced the blown fuse and it would appear everything is working well. So happy I don't have to replace the fan.

I took the non working left horn apart too last night. It is really corroded inside and I guess I will just have to buy a new one or put an air horn in. Does anyone know of a low cost supplier for the stock horns?
