Which part # for FSD's? '08 R52

Hey guys and gals. I have one of the later R52's, from October '08. It appears that, for MINI's, Koni FSD's sell two different sets, described as follows on Koni's site:

2100.4010 Mini 02-06 Cooper, Cooper S (production date on or after 3/02) Including Convertible. - 2100 FSD kit
2100.4099 Mini 07-09 Cooper, Cooper S, Clubman Including Convertible

Usually, when ordering parts, I just order stuff for an '06 MCSC, because half the places don't give '08 MCSC as an option. Is Koni just mistakenly thinking my '08 must be an R56 or R57, or do they really know something that is different about an '04-'06 R52 vs. an '07-'08 R52?

Anyone know the difference between these two part number/kits? Thanks.

I would bet money it is the first kit...since your car is a gen1 car....I think the listing is just a bit of a typo....I check another vendors website...I know the price of fsd's varry by about $100....I have a set on my r53...you will be very happy with the ride...it is like ditching run-flats a second time ridewise!!

Yep. First kit for an '08 cabrio. It's a straight 1st gen / 2nd gen thing. You have a first gen car.
