I've been browsing here for a couple of weeks and just got myself a '06 MCSC over the weekend.

First off.... FUN CAR !!! Shall I name it "Basil" ???

I'll be doing a thorough check-up on the car and need your assistance on a few things...

1. What's a good Service Manual? (I use Bentley for my New Beetle)

2. Where can I buy OEM maintenance / replacement parts? (Online or in Orange County, CA)

3. Independent MINI garage/shop in Orange County (in case I need something major done)

4. How do care/clean the convertible top & maintain its mechanical components?

5. Wheels didn't come with wheel locks. What would you recommend?

Hopefully this Mini will be as reliable as my New Beetle, which has consistently won Consumer Reports lowest rating in the VW line-up. All I ask is at least 150k of relatively trouble free FUN !!!
