Are they different from the normal "S" sport seats in leather? Shaped different? I believe the pattern is different but is the actual structure or shape different... (This is for the '08 model only...)

I believe that the seats themselves were changed after 2006(?) but Im not sure how?

I have them. I think there is a little more padding/stuffing, not sure. In any case they are very comfortable.

 

Sidewalk seats are the same as the "English leather" upgrade option that was available in the 1st gen MINI, except the Sidewalk edition came in the exclusive brown color. USA seat bottoms were changed starting from 2005 because of the weight sensor required for the airbag.

Yes, they are the same as the seats in the other models. We have the same seats in our '07 Sidewalk as our '08 Clubman, only the leather color is different.

 

Really? I wouldn't expect the seats in the R52 Sidewalk to be the same as the 2d Gen R55.

 

Except for the headrests, they look and feel the same to me. The headrests in the R55 are more round.
