ok, i went out to start my 2005 cabrio which i bought new and is 2.5 years old and nothing. My husband is an independent BMW and now mini mechanic so he arrived and charged up the battery. (nothing was on) He analyzed it and the core was gone. short time for a battery. I called Brian Harris Mini in Baton Rouge and they said to have it trucked over. I needed other things done so i borrowed a battery to get over there. This will be replaced under warranty. Also, my top needs replaced because when it goes up and down it grinds the rear window and has really scratched them down. also the top has sever shiny white spots where it is rubbing when it goes up and down.Also, all the rubber molding aroung the car is cracked and peeling, a speaker is blown, the window wipers are shot, and it's idling rough. Other than that It's a great car. I do have 35000 miles on it in 2.5 years and it's b een alot of places. They are fixing all this under warranty . YEAH!!! Goota get that warranty work in before it expires. They promised me a MIni loaner, but I go a Honda BOO HOO. IT'LL BE LIKE GETTING A SEMI NEW CAR AGAIN.
