R52 More Juice
More Juice
So I've decided to mod my car instead of tradeing it for something faster. It's off warranty, I have a winter car, so the mini never needs to see foul weather again.
All in all, what's the best bang for the buck as far as a horse power boost?
My guess is the chip. Anybody have any suggestions for an '05 cabrio S?

pulleys are the biggest HP gain for the cost. (±15 hp)
After that, replace your CAI with a high flow one (± 8) alta or the JCW seem to be favorites)
Then header and exhaust (±6)
After that it gets costly as a dollars per horsepower ratio (ie, new head/camshafts, etc)
