i just don't see how that's gonna be a good thing. more weight, less room, more stuff that can break. i'm glad i got an old fashioned one

Well, I didn't have much choice. The previous ride isn't going to last another year (and remain reliable and affordable) and the wife isn't going to wait a year until I get a back seat for the kids.

So, it's 08 for me.

Supposedly improves visibility by removing the roll bars. I personally have never complained about rear-vis, and I agree that it's more weight, chance of something malfunctioning . . . and I'll be surprised if it doesn't add to the cost premium of cabrio over hardtop.
