MINI Convertible Top Problems

Hi All

I wanted to lower the top today and one side of the top wouldn't move, i closed it, tried again same thing.

I saw that a few people had this problem, Could you fill me in. The car is still on warranty, is it warraty covered? What is involved in this repair?

We are having some good weather here in canada this week, very warm(5c to 10c) and was hoping to take full advatage of the situation before we go back to -25c... ...guess not..

Thanks for the info

Not much help here, but it should be covered by warranty.

There's a cable in the top that has broken and it is covered by the warranty. I lost one of these when they replaced my roof for some unusual wear.

Same for me. The cable broke in the sunroof section & needed to be replaced.
