R52 New MINI!
To me installing a clearbra is essential protection against damage to your paint. Before my car was delivered, I had an appointment to get one installed. I installed 18" on her bonnet, the entire front bumper, headlights, mirrors, door handles and a piece in front of the rear tires.
I paid $600 which also included full window tint. My dealer wanted $800 for just the bonnet. All this was done in my garage, though a lot places will do it while your at work.
I used 3M because I've had good experience with it on previous cars. You can go on their website and find out more information and search for local installers.

I have about 30 - 40 pics of the car, but it took a while to find one which showed the lines of the clearbra. I was able to find this one which you can see them better than the others. I helped you out with arrows, and you may need to save it out and zoom in on the pic to really see it.
