Aero Grille Conversion Project

Edit: (Moved thread to interior/exterior forum)

This is a great project.

I've got my aero grille, dremmel with cutting wheels and 1/8" drill bit, grip clamps to cut the grille in steady fashion, 8mm and 10mm hex and Torx 30 driver for removing the bumper, flat head driver and needle nose pliers for removing the bonnet grille, goo gone for the middle grille slat, engine blanket, gorilla glue, ruler, masking tape, and about 12 different methods to make this work.

My question is this...
What is the best way to black out the body color undersurface (bonnet and bumper) for longevity (avoiding paint chips, peeling, melting, etc)

a)paint it
b)high temp paint it
c)vinyl tape it
d)spray on bed liner
e)other

I appreciate the wisdom of those who have come before!

I used BLACK Duct Tape on the part under the slat that is taped on. I did it on my S bumber and on my aero bumber and has been problem free.
