Access Computer with no button on turn signal stalk
I've got a question here. I've owned by Mini for about 2 months...(02 Electric Blue MCS). It's got about 75k miles still going strong. I heard that you can access the on board computer even without the button on the stalk to get the Average Miles Per Hour/ Miles Per Gallon / etc. Can anyone help me to find out this info?
It has to be enabled in the computer still. You can save the money on the stalk part, but when they go for $19 - $40 on ebay, why?
Once you get it programmed on, you have to wire up a switch to the correct leads..

Found this on mini2.. Add a button option
The other more manual version is this.. Look for "How to show RPM, Fuel Level, Speed and more on your Odometer Digital Display"
