R50/53 Priced Fairly?
I just bought my MCS in the Yeah Area as well and saw this one too. I think the price is OK, but you should still knock them down a bit. Options never get you that much in resell even JCW.
I paid 19,800 for an '04 MCS with 30K and sport package from a Mini dealer and it was really clean. I tend to find some minis have not been treated that well.
To sum it up, I think you can get this one for closer to $23K. Thats what I would offer.
Also, there is a guy selling an awesome 06 JCW, with JCW brakes and everything and I know he'll go 27. Listed at 29. Given this, the 05 is better around 23 given its options....

myabe, but keep in mind it also has JCW brakes and rims. If the other owner doesn't want to come off 25, then it's easy to show him the '06 and say rims alone are worth 2K not to even mention the brakes...
I guess I also like the fact that it has no sunroof and no leather. Those are two things I am personally not very fond of on a Mini. You've seen the one I am talking about, so it's all up to you. Get in and have fun!

I'm working at it, believe me. I currently own a 1996 Corvette that has a few mods, and a 1979 Ferrari 308GT4 that I'm refreshing. The Ferrari has been slow-going, and I love the Corvette too much to ever sell it. In all likelihood, it'll be the 308GT4 that goes to make room for the MINI.
Who'da thunk it - selling a Ferrari for a MIN!?!
In all seriousness, though - I'm very active on both FerrariChat and CorvetteForum, and I've seen the results of people who rush into a purchase. Granted, the MINI is a newer car and it has been made in greater numbers than either of the two I currently own (in their respective trim levels), but I'm looking for a *very* particular car. I'll know it when I see it, and assuming it meets my standards, I'll buy it.
Neither of the cars mentioned thus far are "exactly" right - they're both close in many, many ways, but I know *the* car is out there. It may not even be for sale (yet), but when it comes up, it's mine!

dont know about what you have seen, but Mini Next has very good deals where I am (CT). For example, a 2003 MCS with 29k miles on it, LOADED, is 18.9K. For that price just get the Works package installed and youll Still be below that craigslist price!
Is there a website that lists all "MINI Next" vehicles in one place, as opposed to visiting individual dealers' websites? I'm certainly not opposed to finding a car out-of-state...
