Howdy all. I feel a little embarrassed asking this since it's only my second post, but I've searched three different forums and not found a conclusive answer to my specific question.

Does anyone out there know of any differences in the mirror caps/covers on a 2002 MC in comparison to the later 1st generation Coopers (i.e. 2003 and on)? If I wanted to replace mine and could only find mirror caps that were listed as good for 2003 - 2006, would I be risking some sort of incompatibility?

There is no differnce in the mirror covers, the reason the mirror covers are listed as 2003 - 2006 is due to when they became available. most accessories were not available until 2003. Gives the reason the mirror caps say they only fit a 2003 -2006.....
