It looks as if it will be another month or so before I pull the trigger and get
a new or used Mini. Has anyone ordered a right hand drive Mini here ? Are they available ?
I don't believe they can import them... I believe you can get them from US manufacturers with special paperwork (like you're a rural mail carrier, or something). It sure would be cool though!
Having driven a LHD car in the UK, I will say that it pretty much sucks.... It may be "neat" but it is far from practicle.
+1... I was stationed in the UK for a few years. I bought myself a RHD car locally and drove that around. I dreaded when I had to drive a LHD vehicle. Passing took a *lot* of nerve!
Unless you plan on having it as a show car, I definitely would put some deep thought into getting one.
