bmw doesn't rotate

as they get too many complaints of noise/vibration after the rotation.

Zip
it's unlikely they rotated them.

Add another theory to the pot. Sounds as plausible as Crashton's theory.

I'm putting my money on Crashton's reason. May not be true.

I wish I had rotated my tyres earlier... there was less than 15K on my factory RF, took the car in and my two rear tyres were actually bald on the inside! I made the decision to take off the RF and go with Goodrich G-Force (which I find to be more comfortable, quieter and better handling tyres).
The 'tyre guys' insisted I get these new tyre rotated between 4/5,000 miles.
BTW, I had a wheel alignment, there was no obvious reason for the inside tyre wear to be so bad.

I didnt say owners manual. Check the maintenaince manual that comes with the owners manual. Anything that NEEDS to be maintained is in there. For example, it says that you need to bleed the brakes every two years ... something that a lot of people never read.

By not mentioning tire rotation only means it doesn't need to be done. If buy a house with vinyl siding after owning a house with painting wood siding and there are no references to repainting the house ... well there is a reason for that.

And its probably as Crashton said ... to save BMW Money
