I have just watched ESPN all this afternoon, they have been showing all the concept cars and other new models in different car shows.

One thing i have realized is that most of the cars are much more powerful than before. and they are not that bad looking.

The point is that people in the show did not pay much attention on the MINIs, because the size/power/price. Maybe may be not.

But i have seen the new Mazda in X2 and the new Mish and the new Mr2 and the new Beetles and the new honda and the new.....

All these cars are priced under 20k, but why MINI still mark over 20k(i'm not talking about 19250 or 19000). even the MINI has great value and great fun to have it and drive it. but seeing the others BMW might wanna think to change their Pricing strategy a bit.

A value MINI or a hard to say value mini, or a rip off mini or a expensive MINI?????

MINI is a fantastic value no matter how you cut it or slice it. These cars are also an investments like their BMW breathen as they are expected to hold 60% off their original value by the time they are 4 years old. In Fact the MINI has higher resale value than the Porsche Boxter, Mercedes Benz CLK and Acura MDX.

2004 model year pricing will not be released to the public until the month of August

I agree...
Check the used car ads, like traderonline.com People that are now selling 2002 MINIs are asking 18 - 19K... this is in line with the 4yr/60% estimate.
