What I am thinking about is the look of the Aero Kit, but I'd like the Chrome grills that the Cooper has. I believe those Chrome grills or even the MCS grill with it's chrome edge makes the look of the MINI.

So I want to know, Can you order the Aero Kit by it's parts numbers and replace the black grills' parts numbers with the Cooper's chrome grills' parts numbers?

and if not... can you order the Aero Kit and keep the original MCS grills that have a body colored grill with a chrome edge?

and if you don't get the Aero Kit, can you order the Aero Kit's license plate holder seperately so your front license doesn't cover up any part of your good looking MINI grill?

Interesting, I was thinking about doing pretty much the same thing. But I dont have my car yet I have to wait it out. Anyway, I would try Classic Auto Campus. They can see the aerokit parts individually and cheaper than the dealer.

good luck

sounds like questions for your dealership. When I first looked the the S and found out the grill was body colored i thought for sure i'd like a chrome one instead. Now I dont think so. There is someone on here that has the chrome grill on a Indi Blue S in the gallery. What part of the Aero Kit do you like. The black mesh grill is the focal point.

where can you buy the aero kit for 1200? And how much does it cost to have it painted. In other words how much are you actually saving.
