Lucky, Lucky! That is crazy! Good thing they weren't going that fast (from what it seems).

WOW.

What an epitaph that would be.

"_______ killed in horrific Mini Cooper VS. gate impaling accident."

I've meet Jamie and Rachel a few times at group gatherings, (Century Mini) great people and glad to hear they are A-OK. I had heard about this the last time I was down at the dealer, but hadn't seen the pics. Thanks for the link

Jamie, hope the little one wasn't hurt either. I'll be looking for a detailed report.

Huh? They were driving to dinner and the pole from the race track wasn't zip tied? What? I can't make any sense of this article at all. Maybe I just don't get out enough but I've never seen a restaurant that had a pole sticking out of it's racetrack for not being zip tied.

They own an RV that was in the infield and they were returning to the track, passing through many gates and this one the gate wasn't secured in the open position. It had swung open, leaving the pole sticking out in to the lane of traffic.
