What are some things to look for when buying a used... excuse me, pre-owned MINI?

I'm having an '06 MCS with 6400 miles on it shipped into the dealership close to me from another.

I know it's only got 6400 miles on it, but what are some things I should look for prior to making the purchase? Already, I've learned that leaking motor mounts are a common problem <10k for the '05 and '06s. Is there anything else I should initially be aware of? Thanks!

You should be fine with an '06. You may want to request the service records though.

motor mount

Yea, drive it around and let it warm up. If you hear a clunking sound from the passenger side when u turn off the engine, chances are its bad a motor mount.

Happened to my '05, replaced under warranty @ 14k miles

Check the motor mount as stated above.
Check the tires, if the alignment is bad it can chew thru tires quickly.
Check for the records, keep up to date.
why is the car being sold so quickly after only 6400miles. was it a loaner?
do you really want a loaner, people beat on those cars all the time, so keep an eye out for any damage.

drive it and beat on it and see what happens/how it feels?
good luck!
