R50/53 MINI = "Chick Magnet"? :-)

Wow. Pull into any store parking lot, lot's of ladies sure like
the car.
If you're a single fella, certainly a conversation starter....
I of course have been taken out of commission, (per Wifey).
I'm sure on the flip side, the ladies (who own MINI's), can make the same
claim too. Folks just love the cars.... MINI's connect on every level.
peace, enjoy, motor on!

Yep, good conversation starter, regardless of your gender or marital status.
But just how did your wifey take you out of commission in context of your point ? Does she require you to raise your ring finger when you exit the car in public ?
I've been surprised regarding the number and types of people who comment on my MINI. I got a compliment once from a 50+ year old dump truck driver with a pinch under his front lip. I believe his exact words were, "Cool car. How much miles per gallon does something like that get?".
Picking up my son at school has become an event, too. The other kids take turns coming out to take a look at "That Awesome Car" !

just fun'n!

I've had my car for almost 4 weeks now. Can't believe the amount of folks that come up and ask questions.
As far as the decomission process. Wifey has always said, "how does alimony and 3 child support payments strike ya???" Nuff said...
most of the car buddies that bring their gf's or wife's, or my wife's friends
checks out my MCS while we're working on something in the garage..
they like it a lot.
but i think its because mine's boy.

Life is good. Motor on my man!!!!
I get comments and questions about the car all the time, and the chicks do seem to love it...especially my girlfriend!
But the car is more of a baby-magnet then a chick magnet. I notice that small babies can't take their eyes off when they're walking by with their parents...maybe because it looks friendly, or because it kinda looks like one of those Chevron cars?
Here's my ride:

Might have something to do with those donut wheels you got... making me hungry too.
my MINI. Now it's all men checking out my mods. Less cuteness,
more coolness
Q: Where are the chicks?
A: The ones I encounter that tell me the car is cute seem to be found in one of two places. Firstly, I find them at the various engineerng offices I go to for work. These offices are the ones I manage, the ones managed by my boss in So CAL, and the ones of other firms that I have contractual partnerships with. Secondly, I find them at the various coffee shops I stop in for coffee or tea. These shops include Coffee World, Starbucks, the Natural Bean and others.
Maybe some of you guys need to go to work with me.
