R50/53 Keyless entry remote
Not sure if it is even possible on Ebay.....that being said, when I had to get a replacement key for my '95 BMW, I ordered it thru my local garage but they still had to go to the dealer + I had to show current registration including the VIN + a copy of my CDL to prove who I was 'n that I was the owner of the car.....5-7 days later a new key!!
Granted this is on an older BMW, but I would think that it would hold true for today's cars 'n to slow down the thieves.

Ebay keys will only work as a remote, not as a key. There is no way* to re-cut the pattern. And even then, you still need to get the new remote programmed to your car. Dealer wins, no matter what.
* it may be possible to replace the metal key blank and have it machined to your pattern, but the cost would probably exceed the cost of a new key.
