HEY! Nice plate idea. You and I will be plate buddies .

You will find that you get one of two reactions from people. Either they will laugh and take pictures of your plate or they will shout some rather unpleasent comments at you from their Red-neck pickup or soccer-mom going SUV. I always laugh at the people who pass me on the highway, then slow and and pull behind me to take a picture of my plate and then pull away again.

Enjoy.

Will have mine In a few weeks, I ordered 2 different ones, not sure which I like the best:

TYNIMNI = Teenie mini

TINYSZD = Tiny Sized

What do you think?

I thought it was a no-brainer. It's a pun and is actually the correct spelling of a real word in the English language!

Theoretically there could be another 49 of these out there, right? Anybody else have it in a different state?
I wanted it but it was already taken in CA

Went to the dealer, talked 'em down quite a bit, they kept remarking how we "stole it" ... figured this was appropriate ...

And I'm in love with the "actual size" dealie so I figured a front plate would be good for that ...

Stinch,

I almost got that plate here in Virginia (HB here too!) ... the double meaning being the old song "Blue Bayou"... but I decided against the plate since it is a little most antagonistic than I wanted, especially if I get pulled over by the "Boys in Blue".

Driving Hampster,

Nice to meet you - you're the fabled one... I'll be glad to be your "plate buddy", although I don't think that many people will be pulling in front of me often, so I may not notice the picture taking, if it happens (I tend to have a lead foot). The only difference between our plates is that mine won't have a space. I considered it, but since I couldn't get 2 spaces, I decided to keep them slammed together.

It'll be nice to take a side-by-side photo if we ever happen to go to the same MINI meet!

Koolmini,

Nice plate - darn you lucky guy for being able to choose 8 letters... so many of the combinations I considered really could have used that extra letter. 7 (plus an optional space) is the max in Virginia, and only on standard, "non-special" plates.

I had this plate on my '76 Renault LeCar, '81 Saab 900S and '83 Nissan Stanza. Then I got a truck and couldn't get a personalized plate.
