I wish I could answer that - but no - I don't know the reasoning behind it.

My guess would be that once it is put in "Demo" status at the dealer, technically, they own it. So no need to send the dealer a "gift pack". :smile:

I got the mug and journal. pen etc. gift packs but never got the stencil.

Same here, but no stencil and no mug....

 

Picked up Sadie 7/1/02, got mug when they shipped to all owners in August or September 2002 after all the Americans griping about cup holder size, got Christmas cards from dealer, then MA gave me road game and unscented "air freshener" when I was in there a couple of months ago, but nothing from MiniUSA since last year.

I'd love to get a gift card in the mail that said my mini was rattle free...lol !

 

I'm still waiting on my mug - but I've got all the other gifts.

 

Got my package about 6 weeks after the car - very cool!

The best thing tho' was that about 2 weeks after I got the car, a Mini of Nashville tin of chocolate chip cookies arrived. Yum!!!!!!!

 

Got my black box present yesterday but no coffee mug or stencil yet. Took delivery of my MINI on 3/4//03.

 

Well, I finally got some free stuff. Mechanical problems that have yet to be fixed.

But, I heard of a guy here who got this really cool book with over 60 pages. And, he only has to return one page a month for the next 60 months....with a payment.
