The orginal post got quoted. Don't know if that matters or not.

It's not taking stuff literally...it's a legality issue for the owners of this site. I think that those people who really like posting here just don't want to see it go away because of someone who feels he needs to equate #%@^ size with speedometer reading.

And more importantly don't want to see someone hurt from trying such stunts.

Yep, and SJCO Sheriff's who also do highway duty.

A non-cop car I would show respect to would have NOTHING to do with it's performance. I would respect any well maintained or restored classic or antique.

Don't give a whit about anything else except maybe other Mini's and absolutely any MG.

I've been trying to get a ride in a F360 from a gal that I work with. Maybe next week. If nothing else it's sweet looking.

Hey Chows I know a MINI driver who tail a vette for an entire session at the Sebring, when asked why he wouldn't let the MINI pass the driver made acooment along the lines of "I won't let a little car pass me" he was promptly warned if he had such behavior again he wouldn't be allowed on the track again.

All in the driver.

Sure thing boss, or would you like her to bring the Cayman S? It's fairly disgusting when you get her started.

The R90's are sold, I had to pay for the OZ's somehow. I agree it is the driver that makes the difference but having a car that 0-60 in 4.3 is tough to beat even if grandma drives it.

It happens at all levels. I can point you to a thread where someone boasted there was no need to buy a GT3 because he passed them in his CS in the last group of a DE. He was ripped to shreds for that because he simply didn't understand its all in the driver and DEs mean nothing.
Hehehe I'm criticing the video you posted already I'm at 1:42 and already tearing this guys driving apart. Of course I could probably map out Sebring with a good deal of accuracy by memory and I had multiple and one truly exceptional local (goes there almost every weekend with his Boxter between PCA, PBOC, SCCA and NASA) instructor, who had his fair share of stories regularly out doing 911s who just didn't know how to drive the course, but refused to let "a Porcshe with panties" pass.

Did you read "Posts relating to street racing ... are prohibited"?

If you want to race take it to a track like many MINI owners do but its probably not a real good idea to discuss any kind of street racing here ... hypothetical or not.

Aw come on, get a clue for cries sake. He's talking about the parallel universe where it's legal. Your post reminds me of a states attorney I squared off with in DuPage County about 30 years ago. I was 19 and represented myself. There had been a glitch that indicated my license was revoked when it really had been valid all along. When the states attorney "went" technical on the judge, about how "technically" it was suspended, --the judge "went" common-sense on the states attorney by lurching up on his palms from the bench and screaming at the top of his lungs at the prosecutor "CAN'T YOU SEE A MISTAKE HAS BEEN MADE!!!!!!!" ---followed by case dismissed... Was one of those days I will never forget as long as I live.

Use a little common sense for cries sake.
