The only package I didn't get and now I'm wishing I had. I've seen threads that you can replace the rear view mirror with an auto-dimming one. Does all the wiring and programming exist for the rain sensing auto wipers as well?

 

The rain sensor is actually part of the windshield, BUT BMW rain sensors are available separately to attach to replacement windshields, so that much is possible. Search for threads on aftermarket windshields.

I don't know if non rain sensor MINIs have the wiring, but IF they do, you'll need to go to the dealer to get the BCM programmed.

Maybe somebody has tried this and will post. I haven't seen any DIY pdf files, but what you're doing is the true spirit of modding. Do what they say can't be done.
