Window squeek help needed!!

Does anyone else have an annoying squeek when the windows are all the way up? It appears to be coming from where the glass meets the rubber weatherstripping at the top and is present on anything other than perfectly smooth roads. Any suggestions for a fix would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I wiped down my seals with powder and that did the trick. This is a factory fix trick used by Porsche and BMW.

Mine did the same thing. Turned out to be the window regulator. Dealer fixed under warranty.

Oops, just noticed you're talking about when the window is up...sorry. Mine squeeked as I was rolling it down.

Mine didn't use to do that. Then I went in for some warranty work and they 'fixed the problem'.
Now they do.:impatient
I was going to try silicone lube. Brad, what powder did you use?

I have actually tried some talcum powder and it did seem to help some extent. Maybe I'll try that again and use more of it. Is there a certain type of powder that works best Brad?

Would it be safe to use if the front windows are tinted?

Mini recommends talcum powder or silicone lubricant. No oil based lube should be used.
