Production Date of 8/9/02. I have heard about various features & options that can be programmed by the dealer once my MC arrives. I can't find a list of all of the possibilities. Does anyone know what dealer programmable options are available at this time?

Welcome to MCO AndrewNielsen!

If you go to MINIUSA.com you can download a PDF of the owner's manual and go through it. There's a special icon they use that represents "memory" or programmable features. What is available from your dealer depends totally on what software they currently have. Do what I did, go through and make a list of everything you want programmed or not (like the doors automatically locking when you start driving or windows/sunroof closing when you shut off the car) and FAX it to your "client advisor" along with a quick not saying this is what you want on the car's memory. When you pick the car up you should then be given a computer printout from the technician showing what the factory settings were, and what they have now been set to. Again, not everything cool is available now (like opening your windows/sunroof via the remote key), but it might be by the time you get your MINI. Don't bother with the remote key unlocking the boot- they haven't worked out the bugs yet! Congrats and welcome to the family!
