Unfortunately, my brain stalled on me and I didn't think to ask the dealer NOT to install the front license plate holder before I took possession of it. I'm about to try to unmount it, but I have a funny feeling that it is probably SCREWED into the bumper.

Is this factory configuration ? Or was there a 'chance' that I could have gotten it without the front license plate holder SCREWED into the front bumper ?

If I remove it, has anyone found / created a good solution to getting rid of any unslightly screw holes, etc ? like Bumper Plugs or something like that ?
