I got mine and they are installed. I haven't tested the photon blaster, but I'll be sure to be careful. Wouldn't want any accidents. I'll try to be sure to select such a worthy target.

Very cool! This is just one of the 1,000 +reasons to love a MINI! They sure have done a fantastic marketing job! I sometimes think we (my husband and I) are a little wierd - or just "different" - apparently it's a MINI thing!

ps: be careful. it comes in an envelope, gray, black with yellow stripes. it does have the MINI logo but could be mistaken for junk mail.

Yep they're all hooked up. The first three control the PIAA and IPF lights on the front, the second three are all related to the programmed logic that actually runs the lights.

I noticed with the "Hyper-drive" my car seems to exhibit extra power. Like it wants to launch from a stop light.

But this could also be the cold weather..

Check here. Note that in a pre-'05 you don't need to remove the center console to remove the downtubes. It's a bit intimidating at first, but the MINI interior is sort of like a big set of Leggos. It snaps apart and back together fairly easily.

a second bank of toggle switches. that is way cool! how's the install on that? pretty simple?

 

I don't notice any increase in power with hyperdrive, but I did notice that I can see a little better at night with it on. . .

Well, I lucked out since mine arrived today too, but I ALSO got my welcome pack at the same time!! So now I have the plastic toggle thing and the original stickers that come in the welcome box. The box is too cool! I love all the little items in it!! I'm really hoping I get a black book too soon

 

Ok I got the brown book with the 3d glasses but it appears as if the magazines are from this summer. some tell me what have I missed.

 

The first ad to be deciphered was somewhat of a dud since it only pointed to the invitation to MTTS that we all knew about.
