I have read most of the problems about the MINI (rattles, water damage, recalls, etc) and I knew that some if not most would happen to me. I got my 2003 Rear Strut screw recall (my MCS was built Oct 25, 2002) Saturday, when I got in my car this morning, my shift **** plastic cover thingy had exploded, also for the first time my sunroof started the rattle this morning, and not to long ago (a few days) my rear hatch started rattling! Quite a hit. I don't question the overall quality but I am bringing it in soon to get everything fixed. Still love my MINI, it is just so fun to drive! And by the way, I have a little over 4000K on my car. Crazy stuff.

Well, at least you can get it all addressed at once, rather than driving back and forth for one little thing after another. It's interesting that you have the hatch rattle. I thought they caught that one in time to prevent any 2003s from having it. Oh well.
