I plan to order a 2006 MINI Cooper S in the next few days. I'm planning to get the sports package, limited slip differential, driving lamps, cockpit chrono pack, auxiliary gauges, and sirius radio. If I want to mod the car, are there any other factory options that I should consider, or any of these that I don't need? I mostly want to set it up for the quarter, but I might also consider some Autocross.

 

if you want to setup a car for the quarter, get a Evo8/9.

 

No thanks if all i cared about was the Quarter i Would get an STI.

 

You might be able to order an R56, R53 production is over.

 

Get an 07....and, unless you are one of the few who are absolutely positve you will never want cruise contol, order the MFSW.
