R50/53 Instructions on Performance Driving?
OK, two questions for you pros at wringing the maximum performance out of your cars when driving. Interested in learning how to REALLY drive on a track etc.
1. Is there any good websites on performance/track driving? Or books? Yes, I know, like swimming or riding a bike, one can't fully learn advanced driving principles without actually doing it. However, having the concepts down mentally first will be helpful for my style of learning. I'm asuming such a site/book will have basic definitions of terminology. (i.e. hell/toe - what exactly does that mean when applied to driving?)
2. Where would one go to find a driving school that gives the most 'bang for the buck'? I'm in So. California.
Thanks!

Here are two I have seen:
http://www.turnfast.com/
http://www.thecarconnection.com/inde...58&sid=158
Look under Bob Bondurant. He also has a driving school in Phoenix.

I'ml ooking forward to doing the same... just remember my philosophy. Never drive above 90% of yours or your car's potential. Learn its limits slowly. Putting in 100% all the time may be more fun, but it is also more deadly. Make sure you can control what you're getting yourself into.
