Help me out, my MCO friends,

I FINALLY got a production number this week! Woohoo!! The order was placed 3/31/03 and, according to the MINI USA Owner's Lounge, production is estimated for 5/16/03.

Based on your experiences, and including transport to Chicago, will I get my MCS in June? Or July? The production number is 3768367 if that helps.

Does almost 6 1/2 weeks from order placement to production sound long to anyone else???

If the answer is July........Has anyone started a Can't Wait for July Club yet? I searched but could not find one. I'd love to be the founder, but I just don't have the bandwidth to take on another project right now.

Any help/advice is appreciated.

Cheers,

James

You are probably borderline. So either late June or early July is pretty likely. I ordered mine 12/14/2002 and was scheduled for production about 1 month later... I took delivery on 3/19/2002, but the car could have been picked up about 1 week earlier. So it was 3 months from order to delivery... hence my belief that you are extremely borderline.

jc

Enjoy the wait... hang out with both CWF clubs

I received my production number on February 4th with a production date of March 14. The vehicle was produced on March 11, shipped from Southampton on March 18, arrived Port Hueneme, CA on April 5 with an estimated delivery date to the dealer of tomorrow, April 11. I wouldn’t see any reason why you shouldn’t take delivery sometime mid-June.

Thanks for the input everyone! From your info it looks like six weeks order to build isn't out of the norm, and the actual build date may move forward. I guess I'll join the June club, and if it pushes into July, so be it.

Cheers,

James
