You can BET it will only be this low until just after the mid-term elections in November, then the "oil men" will plug the pipelines again. I wouldn't get too used to it.

$2.43 for 93 octane at Chevron. Regular was $2.19, so i guess they're going up 12 cents for each grade there now, and not 10 cents like everywhere else. Jerks.

I went to fill up last week near Jasper, AL, when reg was $2.12 and mid-grade $2.22. Of course I holstered the nozzle when I saw on the pump that premium was $2.62!!!!!!

$5.89 / gallon for Sunoco 100 octane in Virginia Beach. Their 110 octane is the same price, but it's leaded and illegal for street use.

It was about $3.40 about 6 months ago. I am originally from Oregon but I thought the gas prices were low, or at least they used to be.

$2.15 premium. (93)

$1.98 regular. (83)

Don't forget... winter is on the way and that mean higher fuel prices should be back as well. Gotta make those profits off all that heating oil used in the north. Can I say bastards without getting into trouble?
