unfortunatly I worked most of it. I made a small trip to fredricksburg to see the minis for about 30 min. It was a sight thats forsure =] And yes its a very very short trip
Houston also. Houston MINI Motoring Society has great monthly meetings, two months ago we met at an indoor gokart place, also lots of activities. I think there is a link to the group under the regional forums on this page.
I'm smack dab between Dallas and Fort Worth, which has a very active MINI club, too...MetroplexMini. There's lots of MINI owners around here...not all are NAMers, but quite a few are!!
people from Houston would say they are not in the same area as Dallas, and people in Dallas would say they are not in the same area as Houston. There seems to be a city struggle that goes on between these two at times. It's rather quite stupid.
Myself... I'm a transplant, not native to Texas so I don't much care. I do have two kids born in Texas though, six years apart and three moves apart.... go figure. My husband was born in AZ, I was in CO, First child in NM, Second in TX, third in IL. We moved back to TX... said we already had one from TX so we didn't need to worry. that method of birth control does not work.... Wouldn't give her up for anything though....
