Great piccie, JJ! That's a lot of stuff! LOL! I usually manage to keep things low enough that I can still use the rearview mirror.

On Hoss' maiden trip, we loaded 4 empty coolers into

the back and went to Eastern NC for seafood. We returned 7 hours later with 14 dozen Jumbo Softshell crabs cleaned, individually wrapped, frozen, & boxed in 24 ct boxes, 40 lbs of Lump Backfin Crabmeat and 20 lbs of Cocktail Claw. It all fit...just barely. The family and friends that placed food orders were impressed...that we got it all in the coolers-that we got all the coolers into the Mini-and that the food was superb! All this and 28 MPG to boot.

my greatest achievement is still two mountain bikes (plus two overnight bags, two riders, 1/2 a case of bottled water *and* a MINI car cover to thwart lookie loos)

Yesterday I forgot my camera...

But in my wife's '02 MINI Cooper, I fitted a ton of gifts and other items for her upcoming baby shower.....

I had at least 16 2 liter soda bottles, a ton of chips and 4 boxes that took all the available 25 cubic inch of cargo space.

My family was amazed at the amount of stuff our little MINI was able to swallow.

A few weeks ago I also loaded an old Sony full rack component stereo system. Amplifier, radio turner, dual cassette deck, 5 disc CD changer, 2 HUGE tower speakers, rack furniture and a 13" TV all fitted in the MINI and if I had wanted I could have thrown more things in.

Most people in full size sedans can't even fit half the things a MINI is capable of swalling.

A complete drum kit. With NOTHING in the passenger seat. As Clo suggested, a quilt works great. I happen to have a fatigue-green futon cover (which works GREAT.)

Mpg, handling and storage, that's what I was looking for. But it's way more fun than anything else I've tried. But you know all of this already.

Drat!! No pics....but managed to fit in 3 adults, one baby in a car seat, one extremely large duffel bag, two medium suitcases, one very large backup, one medium backpack and a stroller (through the sunroof) on a 40 mile trip from the airport to home!!!

Small it may look, but swallow it does!!!!!

Gilbert owns many American classic cars. He was VERY impressed with the interior of my MCS. He said, "Did you do all these mods, like add these gauges and chrome?"

I said, "No, it came this way."

He was playing with the switches and things and says, "You didn't do these mods? It came this way? Man this is pretty cool."

If a MINI can impress a car guy like Gilbert, that's quite a compliment.
I showed your pic. to my husband, who's a hugh football fan and you impressed him. Maybe now, he won't refer to my Mini as Mom's "Cute" car!!

2 friends and I, a weekend's worth of cold weather clothing for all of us, food, and a snowboard. Everyone was even comfortable for the 4 hour drive.

Also moved all my stuff from school to back home in one trip, which included clothes, computer, a pocket bike, sheets, extra food, books, and a suitcase full of other crap.

600 to go containers. Yeah, I know, convertibles cheat.

We also fit two adults, a nine year old, luggage for three (and souvenirs on the return trip) for 10 days and 2500 miles, top up.

First trip from Home Depot, 10 bags of mulch and 2 bags of dirt. Second trip,
32 bricks (grouped in 3's). Fortunately I live very close by.

I fit a Hummer in my MINI.
Sorry. A Hummer is not worthy to fit in a MINI. :-)

I think Gilbert is one of the biggest people ever! Or he sure seemed like it on the field.

Anyways, that is awesome!

No picture to prove it but...

Had to buy a new lawn mower and a garage door opener. Forgot when we went to Lowes about driving the MINI, but both boxes fit. And then to 'silence' the critics at work, left the empty box in the back and added 4 laptop bags and my own 2 bags in the boot the next day. Not much was said about how much can fit after that!
