My brother-in-law races a '65 Vette in SCCA. In Sept he is racing at Watkins Glen. My son and I have pit passes so we are looking forward to the races. During the weekend there is an opportunity to take your car and run it on the track. I want to take the Mini out and let her run.

I have the automatic that you can shift by moving the shift over to the right. Any advice anyone can provide on shifting, taking the turns, where to be careful, what speed I can top out at (I have the MC, not the S).
