Some useless information...

Chrome started as an accent for metals. Turns out most came from South Africa... So when all the divestement stuff came about (80s?), chromium was in short supply. Most that you see now is really plastic, with a dielectric multlayer coating, covered by a clear-coat!

So now, it fake chrome is an accent for fake metal!

And yeah, the fender thingies are pretty bad... Not my stile at all. But if they were thicker and more noticable.....

I read this thread directly after reading another about theft deterence. I think the "woody" decals, combined with the theft deterent key, might just do the job.

Yes, I would say anyone who would want to do that to his car could benefit from professional help.

Yes, the Moss trim piece is funny on the surface. But think of that poor MINI they used to "model" that piece. He/she is HUMILIATED! I'm thinking of starting a MINI rescue. The car will be confiscated, returned to proper MINI-ness, and set free in the wild!

Might as well just put one of those Japanese Import racer body kits on it... and not paint it either...

Along those lines, here's a "product" that has been on the Helix site since the beginning.
