R50/53 MINI names
Hi gang!
I'm usurping jabrams800's approach of starting off polls:
I thought it would be neat to find out our MINI's names!
To start off, I'd like to introduce myself:
Hi, my name is Celeste.
Ok, my full name is Razzo Celeste, which is Italian for Blue Rocket, but the guy who motors in me (Markus) just calls me Celeste.

Above, that was me on the day I met Markus.
I was still wearing my braces then (some call it a roof rack).
I'm not wearing those any more (for the moment), but other than that I haven't changed much since then. I'm even still wearing the same shoes: 16" (whoaa, I know, big for a lady) V-spokes in white, with Dunlop soles. I pride myself in being sure-footed courtesy of DSC! Like my makeup? It's the Xenon Sparkle! Highlight come from fog-lights.
I'll even tell you a few things about me that you can't see:
my outside clothes of course are in Electric Blue, you can see that and the white cap I'm wearing. The cap has a movable darker see-through top.
Underneath all that - I guess they would be my undies  - I am wearing leather (nothing like leather on bare skin) in Lapis Blue
.
I can sing a fair tune courtesy of HK. Markus says I have a pretty voice
!
Well, that's it for now.
Cheerio,
Celeste

I'll love reading all the names on this thread!
Thanks Markus!
When I order "Madeline" she will be a Chili Red MCS, White Roof / Stripes, Union Jack, all the options in the Sport Pack except the Wheels - keeping the white 16" X-Lites, Auto Air, MFSW, etc...

Hi, I'm Wendolene and I was born on January 6, 2003. I arrived in sunny Fort Lauderdale on January 31 and was quickly sent to the body shop after a crappy Corolla decided she wanted to get a little too close! That *****!
I was named after Wallace's love interest from the British animated short series "Wallace and Gromit." I like crusing up and down the beach and hanging out with my Florida friends Dolly, SUVH8TR, Annie, and many other Floridian MINI's.
I am looking forward to seeing all my friends next weekend in Tampa. Until then, I'll be motoring around beautiful South Florida!

Help, I don't have a name! Like many others I was born in England, and moved to the US in October '02. My owner Joe got me in November, but never named me! He says he can't think of a good one! It's not fair as I've been a good car and never let him down!
Anybody have any suggestions for him, so I can finally be referred to as something other than "The MINI?"

Given the name Suzzee, after one of the greatest Greyhounds of the nineties in the UK and retired to the US in 1996 on a very liberal pension of kibble and love, I was brought to the US in September 2002.
Living at this time in NW Florida, I roam the roads land surfing looking for the sharpest turns and zippy curves.

My name is Sadie, aka South Sea Sadie, aka Sadie Thompson because I'm so attractive to men. They cluster around me whenever my mom leaves me in a parking lot.
I was named after a Hawaiian song:
They call her Sadie
The little south sea lady
They say that Sadie is the reason
For the heavy tourist season
In the isles so many miles across the sea
The boys rise early
To see this streamlined girlie
For she's the principal attraction
When that gal goes into action
Reservations for vacations reach capacity
So if you're down in hula town
And you run across a certain little lady
With big brown eyes that tantalize
You can bet your bottom coconut the little girl is no one but
Sadie, the little south sea lady
Oh she's the pride of the Pacific
That wahine is terrific
Now you know why you should go to see
The sunny isles so many miles across the sea

My name is HARMINI. I am a 2003 Silk Green/Black CVT. I arrived in NJ on Dec 4th and went home with my owner Kim on her birthday Dec 10th 2002. She's been fussing over me ever since.
Today, she took me to Foodtown and then parked me next to this orange wall and got out in the rain to take pictures of me. I guess she loves me that much
In this picture, you can see that my exhaust is hanging a little too low. When another car bumped into me last month, I needed a total bumper replacement. He also knocked my tailpipe and broke the rear rubber hangers. But it's okay, Kim got my bumper fixed and later this week she's taking me to Philly to have a Helix13 exhaust installed.

I'm Lori. A silk green cooper with a birthday of January 8, 2003. I'm named after the beautiful and charming spouse of my owner. No picture yet as digital photography escapes my handlers, but I hear they're working on it.
