MC Convertible

We are just about to place an order and have test driven both hardtop and convertible. We even took our big Newfie with us and she fit in the back seat comfortably. In our excitement of test driving the convertible , we forgot to check one thing out..... Do the back windows move independantly of the front windows....meaning can we lower the back windows w/o lowering the front windows.....for the pooch mind you.......in the midst of winter when we humans want a top up situation and the newf wants the bitter cold on her nose.

Yes the rear windows can be opened and closed independently of the front windors.

But they cannot be opened independently of each other.

Did you order?

Hope your Newfie likes wind. My German Shorthair loves it, but more often than not, you'll find my Boston Terrier in the passenger leg space. Have fun with the waiting... It will be over soon, and then you'll have some fun.

Oh, and when you get your baby, post pics. It will be fun to see a MINI carrying a dog that's almost as big as it is!

LITABELLE,
No we haven't ordered yet. Will probably do so towards the end of the month. Still doing more research and wow has this forum been a help. We are fortunate to have three dealers in the Chicago Area, and we are researching the best for customer service. Plus the current Beemer lease expires in Sep It will be Wendy's MINI and she is still deciding on Hot Orange or Cool Blue. We know it will be a MC premium, sport and cold pkgs, auto, bixenon, chrome. Purchase this time.

If you're in the area this weekend... show up at Patrick MINI for the MINI BSSP run CMMC and other MINI owners will be there. You'll get a chance to check us out and mingle with fellow MINI owners

Look for the thread in the Chicago forum or the CMMC site to RSVP

Thanks, as it stands right now we have no plans for Sunday. We may just sign up so we can pop in and take advantage of what is being offered.

Cool blue is the way to go! We have a Bernese Mountain Dog who hasn't yet made it into the MINI, but as soon as I find a seat belt big enough for him he will, and I'm sure he'll love it!
