Owen, I love your car. I have recently ordered one just like it. It has been the background on my PC for several weeks and I change the view every once and a while. I originally wanted the EB, but my wife and daughter convinced me that the DS/DS had a better look. It didn't take me long to agree with them. I look ofrward to having your car in my garage!!

Good Job!

Cline.

6f7,
That is exactly what I was looking for, I love it!!! Asides from that particular colour combo, I too am partial to white roofs, although I really would like to get the car vogue Union Jack sunroof decal! I need to make my MINI different from the other BRGs!

Thanks 8ball. Thought about it long and hard, then saw a Tarten Red interior and I was sold. Names him Drago and I'm working on a dragon graphic for the bonnet or roof.

>>What I would love to see is an all black MCS with aero kit, very dark tinted windows, titanium colour wheels and matching fuel door and headlights (whatever you call the current chrome trim around headlights). IMO that would look AWESOME!!!

Nice thing about solid Pepper White is that the roof is either white or the car is solid white....take your pick of which you like, the car doesn't change

Our next Cooper (2004) will most likely by all Pepper White. Does anyone have pics of an all PW Cooper? Can't get enough of them. Thanks

Frails: I have to agree, I saw the previews for "The Italian Job" remake and the PW Mini looked much better than I expected. I can't wait to see the movie.

Thanks Minian,
My shop, Perfect Power, actually sells these. My website will be back up early this week. http://www.perfectpowerinc.com The Tire Rack has been my supplier for most wheels and tires for almost twenty years. You can check their website too, but I can probably save you some money.

WOW! Haven't seen any velvet reds in St. Louis. Saw my first silk green today. Lots of silvers but no solids yet other than a fellow MINI/Miata friend. His MINI is solid black with lots of yellow striping(bonnet, top, sides & boot) Also has yellow on the inside door panels. MINI's name is KILLERBEE

I love your all BM. I bought my all Chili Red Mini back in Nov. My opinion: While
there is no ugly MINI, all are beautiful, I am partial to one color. Am convinced I made the right choice. I love the all CR more now than back in Nov. Even attended the Spring Thing & that didn't change my mind. The first MINI's were all one color, and the three Italian Job Minis were all one color. One thing for sure, its a matter of choice.

I think same color combinations are way underrated. I've seen some great things done with shadow stripes on these cars and, on these, it seems to work best. Also saw (at the local dealer...now visualize this...) a CR/CR with sunroof and aero kit. All that red and black goin' on was absolutely stunning!!!

Hi Minian,
We sell the SSR GT1 in the 18" x 7.5" for $338.00 ea. The GT1 is a forged wheel and is therefore a bit more expensive than some of the othe cast wheels available. You can call Perfect Power at 844-367-8837. Or visit http://www.perfectpowerinc.com

I am close to placing my order for my MINI (Woohoo!), and have recently decided that while the contrasting roof on the mini definitely sets the car apart from other cars on the road, the "all-one-color" option is now more effective for setting my MINI apart from other MINIs. I think I will go with the DS/DS option and work on a unique racing stripe to make it interesting.

I must say that I disagree with the posts that have stated that the all one color roof makes the MINI look like any other car. I don't think that there is anything (apart from extending the car by about 3 feet and adding cheap plastic exterior parts) that you can do that will make the MINI any less unique than it already is by design. IMHO, of course. Put a contrasting roof on a Chevy Malibu, you certainly won't confuse it with a MINI.

I agree... I currently have a PS/PS MC. the MINI itself sets it apart from other cars, and same colored roofs set it apart from other MINIs. although i don't think they look bad, per se, when i see a white roof, i think of a taxi. and in my opinion, the black makes the MINI look like it's wearing a hat, and also hides the sunroofs, which i think is VERY cool to show off!
