June 13, 2002 - started the process at 8:00am, when the car was taken off the transport, and drove it off the lot at 1:30pm. I've been smiling ever since! :smile:

 

Got Mr. Mini in May, 2002. Planning to add an "S" sometime next year (I hope, I hope, I hope) and ultimately be a 3 Mini family by March 2005.

 

I was also one of the early ones.

December 5, 2002. 5300 well loved miles.

 

Unfortunately after 4 months of waiting I was as sick as a dog and so my husband actually got to pick DW up 31 Jan at noon. A co-worker of mine gave him a ride over to the dealership to pick up DW in his Blk Cooper. Our dealer met them at the dealership (over here there is only one MINI center for the area) in his tester a beautiful CR S with white stripes, white top and the sport pkg. I think the three of them pulling out of Karl und CO must have been quite a sight!
Ahh.. but now DW is past break in and is ALL MINE heheeehhe

May 28th 2002. It was Memorial weekend. I had 4 days off. It was ready to pick it up on Saturday morning. I went to my credit union to get the check and all of the senior loan officers were off. The 2 junior loan officers couldn't find MINI in any of their loan books and neither one would cut the check without a supervisors approval. They DID call the dealer and told them I'd been approved but would have to wait until Tuesday to cut the check. I was fit to be tied. All I could do was go LOOK at my new MCS. They were the longest 4 days of my life. I picked it up Tuesday morning and had the rest of the day to play with it before I had to go back to work.
