I wonder what the dealer would say if you wanted to try out the position in the showroom.

It's too late Adam, we know all about your Evil Plot

...and make sure to bring the rubbers (and I'm not talking about the run-flats, either)!

Do the MINI seats recline fast or slow? My seat recline is on one of those rotating ***** that is in a positoin way too far back to be comfortable - it's like 5 minutes of clockwise rotation before the seat's in a good position! And no, the girls aren't attracted to my Saab. Very different from a MINI in that respect, from what I'm hearing

2 weeks ago, I went to a St. Patrick's day party. The party was lame, so I took a certain somebody outside to see my MINI. It was cold out, so after a few minutes, I suggested we sit inside. I started up the car, put on the auto air, clicked on the heated seats and put in Neil Young's After the Goldrush CD. We put the seats back and the moon was shining through the rear sunroof pane.........

Let's just say that it was a couple of hours later before our friends came looking for us.

I was going to do it but I was afraid
it would void the warranty. If I did I am concerned
MINIUSA would consider it a high performance
modification!

Yeah, but a Saab (pre-'94 900 hatchback, anyway) is one vehicle that you can comfortably SLEEP in with the seats down, as long as you're under 5'10" or so. Everything else is just icing on the cake!

I've always wondered if the newer body style 900/9-3s measure up in this respect. It doesn't appear so, at least from the outside of the car.
