R50/53 Problem with my Xenon washers
Problem with my Xenon washers
hello,
For some reason my headlight washers come out, spray once, then stick out more and spray again, then they dont go back in.. so every time they are used they end up sticking out like 3 inches and are stuck out. The only way to get them to go back in is to open the hood and then close it, and then the motor slowly pulls them back in..
has anyone else had this problem?
This is a new MCS that I picked out about a week ago.

That sounds like you need a trip back to your dealer.
I have had no such problems, even at -30f.
I think, that if you are wanting to clean the window without having the headlamp washers come out, just do a quick spray by pulling back on the washer stalk, not holding it down for to long.
I have done this a few times to get the window clean while tring to keep the washer fluid off of the front fenders.
Hope this helps till your MINI can be seen at the dealership.
Cheers
Shawn
